Injury: Spinal cord injury
In 2015, WWE wrestler Tyson Kidd suffered a severe spinal cord injury during a match against Samoa Joe. He landed awkwardly after taking Joe's signature move, the Muscle Buster, which caused a near-fatal injury to his neck and spine.
Kidd underwent a risky cervical fusion surgery to repair the damage to his vertebrae and spinal cord. The surgery was successful, but he was left with limited mobility and feeling in his extremities. He was forced to retire from in-ring competition and has since transitioned to a role as a producer in WWE.
Despite the severity of his injury, Kidd has remained positive and determined to recover. He has received support from his wife, fellow WWE wrestler Natalya, and has been open about his journey to rehabilitation and recovery.
